Copa Margarita:
Capacidad: 205 - 350 ml
Su nombre viene del famoso cóctel Margarita, pero esta copa se utiliza para otros cócteles también, como por ejemplo el daiquiri. Es una copa delicada asociada muchas veces con las bebidas femeninas. Su decoración principal es el borde glaseado con azúcar.
Copa Brandy
Capacidad: 150 – 160 ml
Es un recipiente corto con forma de pera. Esta copa se coge entre los dedos mientras el resto de la copa se apoya en la palma de la mano para que la bebida se vaya calentando poco a poco. Se utiliza sobre todo para coñac y brandy.
Copa Cordial:
Capacidad: 30 – 120 ml
Suele ser de tamaño pequeño con cristal grueso y resistente. Destaca por su cuello pequeño y se emplea en reuniones formales para servir licores tras las comidas.
Copa Hurricane:
Capacidad: 445 -680 ml
Tiene una silueta atractiva y diseño en forma de huracán relacionado con cócteles y bebidas tropicales con frutas. Permite decoraciones sofisticadas y se suele asociar con la playa y el verano ya que el cóctel más conocido que se sirve en esta copa es el piña colada o coco-loco.
Copa Tumbler:
Capacidad: 235 – 355 ml
Conocida también como Largo o Highball, esta copa es adecuada para bebidas con hielo en grandes cantidades. Es un vaso con forma de tubo muy conocido y utilizado en los bares españoles.
Copa de Martini:
Capacidad: 115 – 295 ml
Esta es la copa de cóctel por excelencia. Tiene un diseño sofisticado y un cristal delicado. Se utiliza para cócteles sin hielo y con decoraciones sencillas como frutas en el borde o glaseado en el borde.
Copa de champán:
Capacidad: 175 – 295 ml
Este tipo de copa se suele utilizar solo para el champán: tiene un cristal delicado y un diseño alto y alargado cuya función es mantener la carbonatación y proporcionar visibilidad a las burbujas.
Vaso Pilsner:
Capacidad: 300 – 475 ml
Es un vaso típico para servir cervezas, generalmente asociado con la cerveza con el mismo nombre. Aun así este vaso se utiliza mucho para preparar cócteles tropicales y afrutados ya que permite la apreciación del color de estos.
Vaso Zombie:
Capacidad: 295 – 435 ml
Conocido también como vaso Collins por el cóctel Tom Collins, este vaso es muy versátil y utilizado en muchas bebidas. Es un vaso largo, delgado y muy cómodo.
Vaso Rock Glass:
Capacidad: 250 ml
Es un vaso de tamaño reducido y bastante ancho. Es perfecto para bebidas o cocteles que se sirven solas y con mucho hielo. Es resistente y pesado, perfecto para bebidas fuertes como el whisky solo con hielo.
